Zenith Close, NW9

Restoring Compartmentation Integrity

Zenith Close, a large residential estate featuring high-rise buildings, required critical fire protection updates following heating pipe refurbishments. During the installation of a new heating system, the original fire compartmentation was compromised, necessitating repairs to restore compliance.

Our team was tasked with reinstating the fire stopping using fully tested and certified products compatible with the new heating pipework. The project presented unique challenges as the estate remained fully occupied throughout the works, requiring a meticulous approach to minimise disruption to residents.

To ensure resident safety and comfort, safe working zones were clearly marked, and all adjacent surfaces were fully protected from damage during the installation process. At the end of each workday, our team ensured the site was cleared and returned to a tidy condition, maintaining full accessibility for residents at all times.

In addition to the fire stopping works, any affected acoustic ceiling panels were reinstated immediately upon completion of the compartmentation upgrades. This seamless integration ensured the buildings’ aesthetic and functional qualities were maintained while meeting stringent fire safety standards.

Our careful planning and resident-focused approach ensured that the necessary compartmentation reinstatement was completed efficiently, safely, and without significant disruption to daily life within the estate.
