At RAAM, we believe practice makes perfect and there’s always something to learn and areas to improve and upskill our employees. That’s why RAAM has our own training academy to train existing installers, apprentices and new operatives before going onto live projects. This includes correct methods of installing and maintaining fire doors, fire stopping systems, fire alarms and emergency lights. The centre is also used for suppliers to demonstrate materials and techniques
In addition to this, we are happy to provide fire foundation training for our clients where up-training is required, specifically in fire door maintenance and fire stopping systems. This training is designed to utilise responsible persons to build their understanding and importance of their roles in looking after the properties and people they are responsible for. Furthermore, we are developing our own training centre onsite to provide training to all staff and clients
The current centre is being refurbished so that we can cater for the ever-changing development of products, technology and training.

- Fire Stopping – Examples and training/demonstration areas
- Wallguard Systems – Protects walls and ceilings offering Fire Protection classified A2 and B1
- Photo luminaire Signage
